Hey, it’s nice to have you here!

It’s about the heart! God’s greatest gift is to create in us a new heart empowered to love as He loves. Our quest as Christians can focus on nothing higher than learning about His ways of loving others. Love is indeed the most powerful force in the universe. Love unites. It never divides. Heart wisdom is the focus of what I share.

God is always teaching wisdom and understanding for this world of hurt and suffering people. It is sometimes difficult to bridge the gap of understanding concerning the mind of Christ as He walks this out in our humanity. How can we truly live in the world, but not be of the world?

I offer scripturally-based wisdom, along with occasional humor and a few personal stories, to encourage others as we walk together in God. For many years, my work as a mental health therapist and teacher was my ministry. God taught me so many things! He continually revealed keys to understanding and healing as I sat with others in pain and distress or prepared others to work from their hearts of mercy in the world of the wounded.

What God gives me to share in these posts comes from hard-won truths in my walk with the Lord, personally and professionally. These are intended as ways to live spiritually in truth with one another as we walk together in Him. Heart wisdom involves living the Gospel, being the Light of this world, the outshining of His eternal love for all.

I continually seek Him and His manifold wisdom while sharing gems from His vast storehouse of wisdom and understanding found in His word and in His saints. God is crystal clear: it is about the heart!
